We were leaving the Poughkeepsie Price Chopper today when we saw something awesome.
Two gentlemen entered the store. The first wore a white fedora (maybe it was a fedora-- it could have been bigger) with blue trim, a tan trenchcoat, and a white and blue 1970s style suit. I'm pretty sure the jacket and pants were white, and there may have been a blue vest. If there was no vest, it was a royal blue shirt. This gentleman's associate also wore white and blue, but he did not have a sportcoat on. Instead, he wore a black sateen jacket with a "Dick Tracy" logo on the back.
We had just checked out and were on the way out of the store; if they had come in earlier, I would have followed them around for a while.
The only character that was almost as cool as this was the gentleman we saw at the one-armed bandits at Foxwoods: he had slicked back hair, sideburns, and a tan, circa '70 sportcoat with many pockets and CORDUROY SLEEVES.
